Alex Francis

ALEX FRANCIS
Some shows are just shows. And then there are homecomings.

Alex Francis grew up just down the road in Hitchin, with Bruce Springsteen vinyl blaring through the patio doors on a summer's afternoon and Billy Ocean cassette tapes in the car — music baked in from the beginning. He left Hertfordshire and built something remarkable out in the world. Now he's bringing it back.

Over 20 million Spotify streams, championed by BBC Radio 2 and BBC Introducing, sharing stages with Stereophonics, Alanis Morissette and Sting. Clash Magazine called him "quietly inspirational." And the Corn Exchange itself is no stranger to that kind of moment — The Who played this room in 1965, The Kinks in 1966 — a venue with roots as deep as the music Alex Francis makes.

Full band. Full soul. And a debut album landing before the year is out — this Hertford show is the one that means something extra. If you caught Alex’s sold out show in the Spring, get ready for another notch up!
