The Escape Club are a Grammy nominated UK band who had hits in the USA in the late 80s and early 90s. Their song, Wild Wild West went to #1 in the US charts in 1988 followed by more top 40 singles, including their #8 song, ‘I’ll be There’ in 1991.
Their first album, White Fields still has a strong UK following and they’ll be playing a few selected songs from that album, along with others from their three subsequent releases.
The Escape Club tour regularly in the USA and other parts of the world but haven’t played in the UK for many years. This will be their first appearance in a long time.
Joining them onstage will be long-time friend, Ian Curnow, ex Talk Talk keyboard player.
